I stayed here a couple years ago with a group of riders. Had a great time. beautiful house, and some say it’s haunted because of the murders that happened in it, but we didn’t experience any of that. Would have been awesome though!

I probably shouldn’t tell you what a amazing place this is so that way I can book my next trip.
But here we go this place is the cleanest nicest place I’ve stayed at in a long time. The owners are the nicest people I think you will ever meet. They were more then happy to answer and help us with any questions we had and got our riding permits supplied us with very good maps. Honestly my whole family can’t stop talking about what great people they are. Truly the best place to stay for a large group or family!!!

Great weekend at MMT. The house has a perfect set up and is well thought out. Comfy beds and spacious rooms. Very clean!
It was great to be able to ride then kick back and relax on the porch swing and be stress free letting the pups run around in the fenced in yard. Another great thing was to be able to wash off the RZRs off after riding. Plenty of parking for larger rigs as well. We will definitely return to MMT during our future trips, and will recommend it to everyone!

Great place to stay. Access to Pocahontas, Pinnical, and Indian Ridge. Stay in the mansion and be exposed to the opulence of the early 1900’s!
Ride to the drive in, Jose Mexican or to Maybeury to the antique sandwich ice cream parlor!

Just got back from a three day stay at Ellis House. It is a great place to stay. It is located across the street from the entrance to the trail connector in Gilbert.
The house was clean and well maintained with plenty of towels and other essentials provided, Donnie and Robin are great folks who did everything they could to make sure we had a great stay. The cornhole boards are a nice added touch that kept us entertained after a day of riding. If you are riding The Rockhouse trail system I highly recommend this as a place to stay.

We spent weeks researching a place to stay to ride the Hatfield & McCoys that was able to not only sleep 10+ guys, but comfortably. After finding Ellis House online , we knew we found the one.
Once arriving, it did not disappoint, extremely clean, well taken care of and you could smell how clean the bed linens and towels were! Easy booking, all the amenities, spacious enough for 10 guys with privacy, the list goes on. Conveniently located DIRECTLY across from the Rock House trail head, with a grocery store, auto parts store, ATV wash, fuel station, pizza shops, gift shops, etc. just a mile down the road.

This was our first trip to West Virginia, and the Blue And Gold Cabins were amazing.
They are clean and comfortable. The staff is super helpful and will answer any questions that you may have. We definitely will stay there again in the future.
Connie
Stayed at the Ellis House with 9 other guys, the house was super clean. Everything was great really nice place, directly across from the rock house trail and convenient to town! Will definitely be back.

This was a great place to stay for our trip to ride the HMT trails. The house was spacious, well stocked, clean and had a great location close to both the town and the trails.
Large parking area, and a great setup outside the house as well with chairs, firepit, and even cornhole game for a relaxing evening. Donnie and Robin were great hosts. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a place to stay in Gilbert even if you aren’t riding the trails. Very relaxing atmosphere.
